My father gave me about 7 huge boxes of coins and Ive went through about 2 of them :) I was wondering about error coins, most especially clips. I have clipped Wheat pennies, Kennedy Halfs, Franklin Halfs, Morgan Halfs, Rossevelt dimes, Mercury dimes, and Jefferson nickels. Id say the clips are toward the smaller size. They are all older coins. How much do these clips add to value?

Also found this Overstamped 1942 Lincoln cent. Are these common?

The clips don't add much value unless they're pretty dramatic and only to the right people who collect them. Still neat though, I hang onto all my clipped coins, too.

What do you mean clipped?
Have you got a 07 red book yet? If not, get one, it'll have major error dates in it with prices. Are you looking to sell these or what?

The "clips" are more properly called incomplete planchet errors and do add some value. I am not sure what you mean by overstamped, could you explain? Error coins are a little harder to value than regular coins, there is no really set value.
