Driving to the dump yesterday and saw a landowner
I've been trying to catch up with. After the customary pleasantries I asked if he would allow me to relic hunt his property. At first he seemed a little reluctant,so I asked if he was interested in 5 gallons of hydraulic fluid...that did the trick. When I started hunting I immediately got a bullet signal on my Goldbug Pro. It was a nice three ringer and I went on to find 15 more. My measuring device is broken so I am assuming by the look of them what I have are mostly .54 RM the Northern variety. Some of them have the star pattern in the base where the were put on the lathe to groove them.Pretty good so far and I went home happy.
Went back today and found 5 or 6 more three ringers and a pretty nice New Hampshire Volunteer Militia. Not bad for a place less than 1000' feet from my home. Thanks for looking.
