Nice. What are you shooting with? The bee was just too cold and thus immobile. Like any non-warm-blooded creature it has to warm up from the sun or something else before it's actually able to move. I think around 45F and below they literally can't move.

Thanks, I'm using a Canon 5D IV, with a Canon 100mm macro lens.

Yes, it was 41 degrees here this morning...Here's one from late last summer

That dew bee is a fantastic photo. No blossoms on my apple tree. This last April freeze did it in. Even more sad is some nesting eagles I've watched build a nest lost their only fledgling some wildlife managers from the county told me from this nasty April storm.

Wow that's sad Grant. Hopefully things will start getting better soon.

WOW! Such color. Such content! Submit this one in a photo contest. It is surely a WINNER! ╦╦C

I'm not too fond of them dandilions. :BangHead: They are a headache when you have neighbors on either side of you that could care less about them and other weeds.

Beautiful photos! :occasion14:

Those came out good, didn't they?

I think you nailed it Ron!! I'm still learning my Instamatic :tongue3: Great pics!

I could have sworn I replied to this thread but I may have forgot to hit the "post" button. That wet bee shot is fantastic and makes me want to get the 105mm macro lens for my Nikon. I have almost saved up enough to get it!
