Closed beaches in Indiana

If anyone out there knows of any OLD, PUBLIC swimming areas/beaches in INDIANA and ILLINOIS that have been closed to swimming, for whatever reason over the years, please send me a PRIVATE E-MAIL with the suggestions.
I am looking for suitable areas to use my coin dredge in and they need to be closed to swimming due to the holes that are made. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'd look in the library in the old picture archives and old newspapers.

Swanie1, I had some links, but I've recently changed my ISP, and can't find a thing...
Try looking at the Indiana Historical Societies web site, there is a lot of pretty good old info on there...
Also, do a GOOGlE search,,, maybe just for pics...

If you get around the Indianapolis area, I sure would like to checkout your operation with the dredge...
