I found this point awhile back walking a logging road, I had previously. found a Gary point an evens point and a few bird points. I thought I had found every thing there was to be found, when to my surprise as I flipped over what i thought was a flake about the size of my little finger nail turned into this point. thanks for looking

Is the base ground any? It doesn't look like it in your pics. If not ground I doubt it's either type.

The lack of any fluting precludes it from being a Clovis and Dalton bases are more deeply concentric. I think what you have is an Agate Basin imo. Very nice piece!

yes. the base is ground. took pics with phone not that great.

it has small flute on one side and Basil thinning on the other

Take some better pics then lets see. Looks like a nice point to me no matter what it is. Nice find for sure!, rock

Congratulations! :icon_thumleft: That sure is a dandy!

I would call it a midland . Very nice point

Looks like a Greenbrier Dalton variant to me. Nice find!

Flightline - very nice point. I think the flaking completely rules out Clovis. Dalton is a broad classification in Arkansas and I think you're point falls well within it. Cool find.

It looks like it stands a good chance of being a Nuckolls.
