Club Hunts -- Group Hunts

Hey everyone,

Curious to get people's thoughts and suggestions. I'm looking for metal detecting events to attend during fall and winter months. From what I can tell, a lot of them seem to be more like social gathering and seeded hunts (nothing wrong with that, just not what I'm looking for).

Where can I go to find hunts I can register for where they just release you on a plot of land to do serious metal detecting? Which events would you recommend?

Here's one in Georgia next March. It's a seeded hunt, but there's also 4,100 acres of land to detect as well.
