A few days ago, I posted a 1798 Cent that I dug at a colonial site in East Georgia and I made mention of a toy cannon that I dug and said that I would post a picture of it. I've seen a few posted on here before but, this one that I found is the smallest one I've seen so far. It appears that the barrel is gone just past the trunnion which makes me think that someone put too much powder in it for a bigger bang. The second picture shows some of the other items that I found which include a musket ball, cast net weight, flat buttons and a lock cover.

Great SE Georgia finds .

Lol I had a lil brass canon as a kid that suffered the same fate. It was sooo much fun to put a long fuse firecracker as the payload and use a short fuse firecracker to shoot it across the yard.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Excellent find... I'm dying to find one of those cannons. That one looks like it could be 1700's. This makes lawn darts look pretty tame!

Nice find and Save of the toy cannon and the other finds as well.
