COIL CABLE help

Hey,
I have a Fisher CZ-7a,not the pro,that i want to make the coil cable longer so i can float my detector to do some shallow water hunting.Called Fisher they wont help,called several dealers,no luck.Is there someone that can make a cable up? I would do it myself,but cannot find the wire or ends i need.

Years ago they would do this for you, but now that Fisher isn't the same company, forget it. You could check with a electronics repair place, but my advice is to get a dictated water detector. You will void any warranty work/repair work by Fisher too by messing with the wire.
