Has anyone used the Littleton coin albums before. I have a few dansco folders but was looking at the Littleton album for silver Kennedy halves. It says on their site it fits 2x2.

Here's the question do I have to 2x2 my coin then put it in the album. Or is it built the same as the dansco

In my humble opinion neither dansco or littleton coin albums are adequate coin storing methods. Over time they will tone your coins which doesn't seem like a bad thing but you have to remember that attractive toning is very rare, most will go muddy brown or terminal black. Coin protection over time has always been a challenge for collectors especially on the high end coins, my solution has always been airtights put into a tupperware container with silica packs to control humidity. So maybe not the answer you were looking for just thought i would share and of course they are your coins you can do what you like with them.

I agree. Except that these coins are far from mint state. So a bit of toning will be just fine

For albums, I insist on Intercept Shield albums. They are far superior to Dansco or other similar albums. Of course, Matt's method is ideal for long term storage, but since you asked about albums, my recommendation is the Intercept Shield albums.
