Coin Beach

Taking a trip to Coin Beach in Delaware to detect the sands. Any knowledge will be helpful.

With your Bounty Hunter, you'll probably only be able to search the dry sand. More than likely, the wet will give it fits. Bring a scoop, hat, and lots of sun screen!

Right about that. I have already dipped my coil in the wet sand, under water, and it just goes whacky
!!!

Also, don't look directly at the sun.

I had my luck right at coin beach, just north of the inlet
and west of where that cement structure sits on the water line.

although I wasn't in the mood to get wet feet

I'll bet those cement legs, catch some nice things from the sea on occasion

Also don't use much disc as many gold rings are in the pull tab range. White gold sometimes in the foil or high iron. When you find a ring, don't study it there and slip it into your pouch like it was junk because you don't know who is watching you to size you up as a victim.
