Coin cleaning/vaseline question..

I find that Museum Wax is the best protectant for coins regardless of metal composition :coffee2:

I'll just rub the coin between my thumb and finger after peroxide. The oils on my skin will bring out the details. Doesn't work well on everything and you have to rub for a while. Also, it's best not to clean the coin by running it under water before hand or after. You actually want the coin to look dry and dirty after peroxide and rub the details in with your fingers if that makes sense.

Here's an indian cent I did using that method.

I used the vasoline on my roman coins. One of my UK friends told me it helps to keep them from deteriorating. I do not take it off.
