If you turn upside down the coin that appears as a flower, it now appears as a figure standing upright with its arms outstretched.

By the way, the original name of Pella was Bounomos ("Grazing Ox"), and is alluded to and shown on some of the coins from the city with the grazing bull (ox)--like yours.

Don, I think my coin is not Pellas but Tessaloniko. I found this one. Macedonia, Thessalonica, AE18mm, 158-149 BC.

Obverse.Helmeted head of Athena right

Reverse. QESSALO-NIKH above and beneath bull butting right or grazing right

You can notice the written under the bull : NIKH

Here's another with the NIAKH, but misattributed to a horse grazing right:
Thessalonica, Macedonia, AE19. 187-31 BC. Head of Athena right / QESSALONIKH, horse grazing right.

I find it interesting that Pella was once the port city on the Thermaic Gulf (on the North Aegean Sea), connected to the Gulf by an inlet--which eventually silted up leaving Pella landlocked. The A-L-A National Park occupies the silted up area today and Thessalonia now is the port city on that gulf.

I was closer but you nailed it. They look identical. Both have four lines in front of the helmet. The cow and the written identical too. Great!

That's the only I could find too. I was thinking too about Artemis on Sicilian coins but they have thunderbolt on the reverse!
