25 mil.looks like the profile is facing left. Any guess on what it could be?

I'd say a George 2nd Farthing, 1722 - 1760

looks like I can faintly see some stars close to the edges. possibly a Classic Head US half cent? hard to tell, that thing is pretty toasty

This is one of those coin finds we all get at some point, where the coin is so smooth we can see almost anything on it eh! :laughing7:

Old coppers like that can make you happy as can be when you find them, then frustrated when you realize there's no identifying them. Good find no matter what it is ( I thought KG II when I saw it ).
