Well lets get things started! This thread is for the penny roll searches. Post as often as you like! Post pictures if you want! Good luck to all contestants! May you find some wheats!
Hi everyone just cracked open a few penny rolls that I got from the bank the other day and I found a 1921 King George the 5th canadian penny. I'm not done searching but I've also produced some wheats and some older king george the 6th pennies between ranging between 1940 to 1952 and a 1999 penny from the Barbados. Good luck to you all and happy hunting!

happy hunting benthecoinguy
Hi everyone, I have been hunting rolls of coins since I was a child and I'm still at it at the age of 40 yrs old and I still get a kick when I find something.
So this weekend I went to 3 different banks and picked up rolls of coins. The first bank that I bought the coins from was the BEST search I have ever had in my entire lifetime. I purchased $30.00 in rolls of pennies and I found 143 wheat pennies, three of the rolls had approximately 40 wheats each. I guess someone rolled all of their pennies and turned them in, needless to say I'm going back to the bank on Tuesday and try to buy more of the penny rolls.
The grandparents just gave the girls 100.00 rolled coins.......which will keep them busy.
They also brought an old coffee can full of assorted coins which wont count toward the rolled contest because the gparents had it a long time ........ So the girls decide to do the coffee can first..because of the silver......hahhahah....pretty soon I hear screaming going on and go to investigate....they found a silver filled tooth in the coffee can...LOL.....
okay, here's my final count on $100 worth of pennies
