I called the bank that would sell me bags off the counter and was told they no longer sell them BECAUSE of the coin shortage. I tried to say that I don't keep them but put them back in circulation but they said no.
They do order me boxes of halves, have 2 to pick up today, but on bags
I have a friend that was told they would no longer sell him rolls of nickels. Don't understand their logic.

Good luck with that.

Too many young people will have no issues with that, they already just use their smart phones, don't realize that the gov't could shut them down at any time. With no cash the gov't will have total control

Good luck with that.
From the bottom side. Mc Donald's. Manager doesn't order coin less work. No change, customer doesn't get their change, pfft it's only nine cents! Times twenty or thirty. Covers a few short drawers. No cost for coin deliveries, no hassle with coin, a balanced book for a couple shifts, life's good for them. Where does that coin go in the bucket under the drive thru window go? Most to cover short drawers and any left over if any goes to Ronald's house.

Greshams Law is pushing out nickels and pre82 copper cents for sure. Banks havent wanted to sell nickels for a few years now.
Im surprised they havent changed the metal comp yet.
