Coin worth?

Just to clarify I'm not a coin guy. And I'm not really looking to get into the hobby yet. I acquired these by coincidence and I'm just curious if I should put 'em in a safe deposit box or what.


So I just acquired the following all graded and slabbed, but am not sure of the actual worth, any ideas?

heres the list:

1988 ANACS sealed 1988 1$ silver eagle MS70
1943 s 1 cent steel or zinc NGC sealed MS65
1965p kennedy half dollar sgs sealed sms70
1966p kennedy half dollar sgs sealed sms70
1967p kennedy half dollar sgs sealed sms70
2001 1$ PCGS sealed silver eagle World trade center ground zero recovery Gem uncirc.
1888s 1$ morgan dollar NGC sealed MS63
1923s 1$ peace dollar NGC sealed MS63

any help would be greatly appreciated.

My expertise is only in Lincoln cents. The 43-S (steel) in MS-65 is worth about $15.

It's odd. I did some research on that 1988 silver dollar and found a bunch for 2-4k. Apparently the ms69-70's are super rare. pcgs has their ms70 listed for a value of 4k! Unfortunately mine is an ANACS graded coin. So not sure what the actual worth is

Be wary of the grades assigned by SGS. Simple Grading Service always overgrades their coins. Just knock their grade down. SGS is used for bulk grading at a very discounted rate. If it grades MS70 (perfect coin), I would assume that it would grade no higher than MS 67 by one of the reputable big 3.

1965p kennedy half dollar sgs sealed sms70 - $25 (If it is at least MS 66 - SGS is garbage)
1966p kennedy half dollar sgs sealed sms70- $20 (If it is at least MS 66 - SGS is garbage)
1967p kennedy half dollar sgs sealed sms70 - $25 (If it is at least MS 66 - SGS is garbage)
2001 1$ PCGS sealed silver eagle World trade center ground zero recovery Gem uncirc. - $27
1888s 1$ morgan dollar NGC sealed MS3 - $375~400
1923s 1$ peace dollar NGC sealed MS63 - $65~75

On the SGS coins, subtract at least 4 grades (MS70 = MS66 at best). The WTC recovery coins aren't getting a premium.

Thanks for the replies guys. I appreciate it. It'll help once I get to selling these coins off to people who know/want them more than me . I'm a gold prospector by nature. Maybe it'll raise enough $$ to get me a decent metal detector.

To check the authenticity and value of your NGC slabbed coins, you can go to www.ngcoins.com. There you register (Free). Once registered you can verify the coin. Enter the serial number on the slab
XXXXX - XXX, NGC will often give you pictures of your coin and the numismatic value as well.

Hope that helps with the graded coins....
