Found this today. It is about the size of a U.S. Nickel, but thinner. . . Maybe a little smaller.
I can't make out a date. The letters at the top look like _ _ _ A PORT. Can you help me identify it?

WOW! That was quick. It is a 2.5 Escudos from Portugal. Can't make out the date, but 1948 is as good as any. Don't know what it was doing in the front yard of a Houston, TX residence. THANKS very much to "villagenut"!
