Coins from the '50s...1850s!

What an awesome day!



Got to love the detail on these two considering how much time they have spent in the ground.



A little newer, but still very nice, a .925 locket.



When I pulled this out of the ground, I thought it was a "U" pendant. Sure, someone named Ursula. But upon closer inspection, it appears to be a replica of a set of teeth. Bizarre, weird, creepy, but I'd love to know the story behind it.



As if the teeth weren't creepy enough, this clay doll popped out of the soil (not detected). I believe these were known as Frozen Charlottes.

Sweet Half Dime and Flying Eagle cent
The lower set of teeth looks like an earring from the size and the loop attachment.
Really weird recovery and I'd say a first that I have seen posted up.
(Not on bucket list though)

Great curio finds! That is a frozen Charlotte I believe...children used them while taking a bath I've been told...the teeth are such a cool find... thanks for sharing this! Congratulations 👍

Two GREAT specimens from the 1850's! The half dime is lovely, but the FEC is quite extradinary. I don't recall seeing one posted in better shape. Congrats!!!!
