In your house? Please explain, sounds very interesting. Very cool!

Were these coins found in the basement or attic from the previous owner. How old is this house? Explain and give us the hunt details.

they was "found" in a fire proof box left from the owner that died before i bought the house. the house isnt to old its 1940s.

he had 2 more foreign coins but i didnt post them. they are both 1950's

Neither one are particularly valuable, but, interesting finds none the less. :icon_thumright:

Nice finds.
Did the owner hide the fireproof box in the walls somewhere and you found it?

People ought to know they ain't gonna get away with just saying they found old coins in their house :D

Wasn't in the walls but in a filing cabinet.

Ah, that's neat you took the time to search that cabinet. Thanks for the follow-up.

My sister bought a house in Colo. When they were rehabbing the kitchen they found a box hidden under one of the bottom panels of a cabinet. It had $4000 in cash and a bunch of silver dollars. I never asked exactely what they were I was too jealous I suppose

Thats a cool find surprised they would leave a safe behind

Welcome to tnet from MI
