I figured I post a thread about coins I found metal detecting so far on my property.
A little backstory, my house is an old building. It used to be a church in the 1950s. After that, it belonged to a school, then it belonged to three other people, and now my family.
I started metal detecting on July 24th of this year. I took it up because I was curious to know what kind of stuff was on my property.
Yes, I found a lot of metal fragments and some weird stuff as well as old toys, but I am posting about coins I found so far.
So far, I have found one quarter, one nickel, five dimes, and 8 pennies.
No silvers, but one of the pennies is a wheat penny dated 1954. That gives me hope to find a silver on my property someday.
I’m gonna keep looking, and keep you all updated.
