ive been reading all the great posts and finds here ,i have a little one and cool story, i read how one of the members here checks the coinstar for reject stuff,well before the holiday barbq,i was at safeway getting beer as me and my lady were leaving i thought what the hell,checked the coinstar 2 little watch batteries and a 64 rosie.lol..thanks for the ideer out there..made my day!!!

Nice! My kids are trained to check the machine. Usually it is nothing but occasionally they get rewarded, once with a handful of rejected coins including a foreign one.

Funny you would bring that up - I find myself now walking past those coin machines and looking dansalata!

Don't forget the feeder basket. I often find coins in the edge nearest to the customer. You can't see that area so people miss it. Also coins can be caught in the area where the coins feed into the machine.

I find lots of tokens, thru the years proably 6 silver coins and 7.00 in change, surprised what people leave behind.
