It's been over a year since my last silver out of a coinstar.

Nice work.Congratulations on the silver…
It’s a great feeling when you see coins in the tray

Funny story.

I watched a couple roll in one of those 10 gallon water jugs full of coins to our local Coinstar the other day. I did some shopping at the store and planned on checking the reject tray on the way out. I was checking out and they were done. I started walking toward the machine and the man said “Hey let me check out the reject tray”. It was chock full of only God knows what lol.

I was bummed out for sure.

Thanks Bill,
I can't imagine not checking Coinstars...you never know what is waiting or not waiting there....mostly not waiting there. :)

Ringle ringle coins that go jingle make such a lovely sound!
CM I was standing in line today at customer service and a person filled up the Coinstar .
Nothing was left behind..
I’ll hope to have some better luck next visit
Best of luck on your next trip CM…

Yep. They're empty 99.9% of the time when I check them. Though I did find 35 cents in one today (modern clad dime and quarter).

If I find anything it's usually clad...tonight a quarter and a penny...which went into my change bucket and eventually finds its way to a coin machine (not a coinstar machine).

So how do you get the coin star coins?
Just check the reject bin below on the coinstar machine... sometimes coins are hiding where the coins are poured in as well...hope that helps 🙂
