Cold calls 8/19/10. Silver "streak" at 4
Hit 11 banks today and found $53.50 in halves. The halves produced 1 '64 Ken and 1 '67 Ken. On a disappointing note, a teller at the last bank I hit told me that someone had cashed in a "big bag" of large dollars at their main branch, but she had already been there and bought a couple of the "old ones". I raced over there anyway, and to my dismay (but not to my surprise) they had all been purchased. I just wonder what she meant by "the old ones."
Not much but I'll take it. I had to put the "streak" in quotes as my grand total for the 4 trips is only 2 '64 Kens, 1 '67 Ken, and 5 war nickels. Not much, but more than I had. HH everyone!
