In my need to feed my addiction, I stopped by GW after work. I had already checked the jars and passed. Then I spotted an awesome piece of unsigned artwork. I just beat another person who saw it 5 seconds after me. Then I grabbed these two vintage Coleman 202 lamps. The lady I beat to the artwork said “I saw those lamps but couldn’t think of what to do with them!” I said “Go camping”, but thought “Sell them!!”

That is an great piece! Is it a painting? I really like the 'average person' vibe and the way it is almost everyone's back view.

Original with heavy paint work. It’s even better close up. I’ll add pics later.

The painting is clever.

Interesting painting and always useful lanterns! :occasion14:

That is a really, really nice piece. I love the technique, the styles of dress and hair are great and the colors are a really nice. I would keep that one if I found it.

I’m probably keeping the artwork, but sold the lanterns for $160 (paid and being shipped) and $150 (paid by a guy with zero feedback). I might use some of the profits to get the art framed!

Great find with the lanterns, I pick them up whenever I can. I found a red 200 a while back that brought over 110! Some of those can sure be worth it!

Absolutely killer painting. Looks mid century to me based on the styles of clothing. That’s one I would keep for my collection
