Collar disc with shield and star?

Hi all dug this today. Reminds me of a collar disk with the screw post on the back but I haven't seen anything like that style. Any help appreciated

I'm at a loss....Could be an US Army DUI, but I'm not finding a match.

DUI = Distinctive Unit Insignia, sorry sometimes I forget not to do "Military Speak".

Glad you found the ID for your find. With so many US Army DUIs, you can go blind trying to ID them sometimes. I know US Air Force insignia better than the other branches.

Thank you, there were a ton. I searched shield with star on top pin and that narrowed it down. Before I was searching collar disc
