Tried my luck with my delta 4000 and hit the honey hole at night. Can you believe I forgot how to use it after using my AT Gold. Well, I sent my Garrett back for repairs after the screen developed a bubble inside. :-(

Well the first hit and the last hit with the delta produced some good stuff, but this is after two hrs and a lot of inconsistent chatter and then silence. Don't know if the machine is working as it should. I would hear a nice high tone and the nothing after a few more swings that I decided to give up. The only two times I decided to dig I received what I thought was a penny and a washer with heavy crud and rust. I'm happy I didn't throw it back because after a using a make shift electrolysis thanks to you YouTube discovered a 1911 barber dime and a Machine Gunner with cross swords from WWI collar pin.

Not bad for a midnight stroll in the desert...
