Yesterday, we went again to a very old town, where we had found coins from around early 1800.
First stop, around an hour in a private land that we got access from the owner the same day. He said that there is a buried Tresure in 👉🏼 that hill that his grandfather hidde during revolution days, and I’m to old for try to find. Beautiful story with a lot of details, but we moved to the second stop. Knock the door of my friend that growth in that area, he had showed some good points, this time we just stop for say hello, but as in the past he pointed old ruins close to his ranch and gave us permit for prospecting there. Small area, 30 minutes, and two coins jumped.( early 1900). He said under the frame of a door of this old ruins there are few gold coins ( alazanas). The doors are not there any more, he said a good detector 2 meters could detect that coins ,the issue is mud bricks from walls and ceiling fall down long time ago and converted in layers of soil.
I said “ we could come back with an equipment needed for recover that coins. Long story short … the father of his grandfather, when was young, moved alone to US and her young wife was waiting from him in that house, but then she also moved to US and before to leave the home for join with his loved husband she hide that coins under one of the frame of a door of that house, she did it because she was afraid to someone stole during her trip to US.They both returned just one time to visit the town at the edge of almost 90 years and said about that buried coins.

Third stop, our friend pointing this area, very old area and … well you see the photos ( this time my finding was “Puro Chile” , means nothings) but happy because my friend findings.

Comments are very welcomed.😎

The doors are not there any more, he said a good detector 2 meters could detect that coins ,the issue is mud bricks from walls and ceiling fall down long time ago and converted in layers of soil.
I said “ we could come back with an equipment needed for recover that coins. 😎👍🏽

Intriguing area, very unlike our moist cool climate in Eastern Canada.
The climate looks very arid (dry) there now but there is a lot of erosion that must mean there are some big rains sometimes?
I like your shirt emblems. Are you licensed to metal detect by the Mexican government?

Hi Almy,

Yes, is very arid with some big rains sometimes.

We are not licensed by government, we are just a metal detection club.

We do have no established rules, but enjoy the hobby respectfully.

Which part of Canadá are you at?

I visited Calagary, provost, Edmonton…

Keep in touch
