I had a great time yesterday with my buddy Chris & saved some more history! We returned to the early site I found last weekend for half the day. I found 3 complete colonial attire buckles, a horse tack buckle, 3 flat buttons & some sort of attachment (any ID appreciated). After lunch we checked out a different permission I've never been to. I was happy to see an antebellum plantation house (abandoned) adjoining the property! I found 4 flat buttons, 3 Indian head pennies & other assorted relics. I plan on trying to secure permission to the actual homesite on the next trip. It was a beautiful day to get out & detect, loving the 70s in February!
