Was able to get out for a cpl hrs today to a sight that has been well worked over the years. Found a few buttons, cpl broken buckles and relics. Here are the best ones out of the bunch cleaned up.

That is a neat looking button. I looked the backmark up in McGuin & Bazelton's backmark book. They say that a General Gerrit Smith made pewter buttons in Watertown, CT from 1815 to about 1829.

I found the same bridal piece last year :icon_thumleft:

I remember it well it was like 11 inches deep..
