Found this in a field where I've pulled a few Spanish silver coins, civil war relics and buttons. Looks like a comb to me and that there would have been a handle, possibly made of wood, on the rounded end of it. Would it have been some kind of comb for a horse, or sheep? Anyone have a guess as to its age? Whatever help you might have is appreciated. Thank you!

Happy Hunting!

It kind of looks like a lice comb to me.

It's part of a hot comb. It'll curl your hair.

Thanks Charlie! I've never heard of these before. I learned something today.
