Wasp still there, protecting a coin!

A colonial medallion, a coin, and a cutted coin.

How can upload a video?

I will show medallion and coins as soon as I clean them.

Keep detecting 😎
Thanks 😎

Beautiful job with the restoration. That medallion looks fantastic. That looks like a very old site judging by the structure. Do you know how old it is?
Also, what is the half-circle object with 1/4 on it?
(1/4 centavo or some kind of token?)

Caption on image "Santa Barbara patrona de los mineros y de quienes manejan explosivo"
Santa Barbara patron saint of miners and those who handle explosives
I would say miners and explosive handlers definitely need a patron saint, especially back then.

Thanks for sharing with us.

Petespockets,

Thanks for your comments.

That site should have more than 250 years, colony spanihs in Mexico. This place is 50 minutes driving from Chihuahua city downton.

It is a half coin, I mean, I/4 reale that was cutted; at that time the country had not 1/8 reale, so, people cutted for having that denomination in daily comercial activities. That half coin is from 1860.

Around Two years ago,I found a coin minted in 1762 in that site, it gave us an idea of how old is there.

Keep in touch, keep posting and keep detecting.

😎👍🏽

Looks like an another great site to hang out in for awhile.
Congrats on the finds.
