Found these in Philipstown NY this week near a creek that was travelled by both armies and residents during the revolution. Not sure what everything is. The square US of A is non ferrous and came out as is uncleaned part of a larger piece. The lead was probably a minnie ball carved.

The iron piece looks like a key but I dont know for sure, the brass is a trigger guard from a rifle.

How big a piece of lead? They used to melt and cast their own bullets back then, could be a piece used for that...

go back and detect every inch of that site. keep on digging !!
I'm with Allen here. the top two picks look like plates off a chest tht locked. Could be a small cache nearby. I would be looking very hard at the spot where you found those and take off the disc and keep sensititvty as high as you can get it. . Bring a good shovel ;D HH and nice finds Submerged.

Interesting finds and hunt! Probably more where those came from. HH, Mike
