Well where to start...Romeo came up while on course for 2 evening hunts looking for his cannonball... Had slim pickins the first evening with only a few musketballs and one 1775 copper... On second day, myself and hunthicks decided to get a few hours in before picking up romeo, I decided to change up the game plan a little and gained permission on a new sites.... Well lets just say it paid off for romeo and hunthicks, but that's their story... I believe the site was hit hard before but there were still plenty of targets hidden deep... managed about 25 musketballs, 4 coins, one with possible date of 1620 (will have to soak it first), other coin was late 1700's, a 1854, a crudy vicky silver, a few buttons in which I had a heart stopper pewter pop out but had nothing on it (you'll understand later why), then came my heart breaker (the broken trade axe)
may still get some touch marks off it yet.....and one well worn french bale seal....with monte written on it... thanks for looking..
