✅ SOLVED COLONIAL ORNAMENT?

I found this today at the same site I found a tombac button and part of the colonial shoe buckle.

Trying to identify it. Even something to search for would help. I have no clue, although it reminds me of the center of a brooch that I also have.

Whites V3i VDI was 58-60

I found one like that with shank attached. I always thought they were small cuff buttons. Found in middle of a colonial hot spot.
