Another successful hunt yesterday. Any help on what the item in the middle might be? It is stamped 2 1/2.

No help with ID, but that's a nice buckle frame congrats

No expert but I've used such mechanisms to tighten a hold on things such as a water hose. My guess, given the age, this held a piece of wood.

Morphed your day into some nice finds

Congratualtions on the old buckle and other cool finds! :occasion14:

The large end tightened onto a shaft with a flat spot. The other end was probably pinned to another piece of linkage. I would say probably for engaging/disengaging some device or maybe used as a mechanical speed control.

Don't have the slightest clue what it might be from.
