I found these two buttons on the same site where I found an 1801 large cent. It's tough going, lots of iron, nails, and an electric cattle fence close by causing false signals every few seconds - drives me crazy. Any way, the AT Pro sniffed these two buttons out. Am I correct in believing these are Tombacs? Any ideas on approximate age? Thanks!

Yeah, I hope to get back over there within the next day or two. I think they're still some history hiding in the dirt.

Just gotta love those old buttons. WTG!
