Colonial Trash pit

Here's a pic of a great day I had diving last year. It was a colonial refuse pit I found on the edge of a river bed. The river over the years had cut into the bank where the pit was exposed. There was a mixture of early american and Rev War artifacts. I was metal detecting, but as I fanned targets, non metal objects were also uncovered.
