hello all,
Got a chance to head up country to an old mining district, found some relics, found a lot of bullet casings. but in all and the rain had a good time.

Thats some pretty country.

Yep,Camp Bird and Sneffles are located in Yankee Boy Basin.When the road forks you can see Governors Basin and The Virginous way up the mountain.this is a Jeep road and one of the earlier mines in the San Juans.

wherever you were at, you had a BEAUTIFUL DAY. What scenery. Nowhere like it in the world, except maybe the Alps.
But, I wouldn't bet on that.
Go back. Not all got yet. Still the miner's poke, full of lots of lost gold.....
