Colorado's Canyon Pintado

I stayed last Wed. night in Rangley Colo. and took Colo hwy 139 south to Grand Junction. I took a little time to explore the rock art that is said to have been done by the Ute and Fremont cultures. I can see why this canyon was used buy these cultures, as the sun keeps it at a very comfortable climate even on this 8:AM cold morning. I wish I had more time to explore more of the area.
