Columbus Day Silver

The banks in Walmart were open today, so why not

Got $200 in CWR quarters for a skunk (I'm making a half hearted effort to find at least one silver quarter in 2012)

and got $100 in mixed CWR/MWR dimes for one 1964D FDR.

I'll take it!

Two more boxes of halves coming this week. Hoping for a few more to add to the pile.

Ten boxes of quarters? wow, It would take me weeks to go through all that. I talked a co-worker of mine who works in a bank about CRHing. she said she hated those people. that they would buy huge amounts of coin only to return them only a few days later. I told her not all of them are bad and that I wouldn't dump my coins at her bank. (I plan on using it as a pickup bank since she says that particular bank isn't picked over like others)

I can't wait to get my halves thursday.

Well, I didn't need to order 10 boxes for my first CRH silver Washington.... Picked up a Brinks box along with a box of dimes and landed a nice 1960!! Dimes have up 2 x 1964! My 3rd half dollar box of the week provided a 1954 Franklin and a 1964, 65, 67!
