I found this yesterday and posted it on the Today's Finds but figured I would get a better response here. It is brass, conical in shape, broken off at the narrow end and has an irregular hole in the bottom of the wide end. No markings of any kind. It was found in the middle of what was once a road but has not been used since the 1920's. Prior to that it was used since the early 1700's. French and English military activity in the area. Thanks for looking.

Is it too big to be the tip to a powder horn?

Yep, too big for powder horn...not a high pressure nozzle either...
