Confederate Clipped Corner Plate Today

Pretty sure it is a clipped corner. Looks like there might have been some attachments on one side. Pretty beat up but I will take it.

Great find! If there are braising marks from the attachments, then you are in business, and you've got a nice relic that could be restored if desired.

No cs but there are some remains of solder marks on the one side. Real rough though. Probably will have rofro look it over and see what he thinks about a repair.

Looks like the ones I have found, the solder is a good sign that it is a clip corner.
