Its really hard to tell from the photos if they are real or not. Look very closely over each one for the word facsimile or copy. Sometimes these words are hid in and amongst the writing and printing on the bills.

On the second bill I think I see the word facsimilie under the 100 on the lower left back of the bill.

one way to tell if confederate money is fake is if it is stiff and feels waxy or more like cardboard then it most always is fake and also the words facimile or copy or a C sometimes underlined or just a plain C hidden in the design somplace usually in the lower left hand side at least in all I have seen. sometimes they hide them prettty good tho.

Found these in going through my Dad's belongings after he passed away.
Can anyone tell me if they are real?

I have the same 100 dollar bill an only has partial date of Nov 20th 186 can not see last number and has no serial numbers at all, but also have a 50 with serial # but found that was a fake. Ladyg

This one is supposed to be real. I also found a $2 on sale for forty dollars. Yours may be real, those state bank notes don't seem to carry real high value. I have two that I won as door prizes.

The CSA Richmond note in the original post is a fantasy piece, the originals have a blank back. I have one I found in an attic framed on my wall. There is a list of known fakes and repros online somewhere that is a good reference for these notes. One key is to look at the color of the signatures and any other hand written bits..... Original Richmond notes in good condition were going fro around 50$ last I checked.
