Visiting Mom in The Woodlands, TX while she recovers from arm surgery. Want to drive up to Conroe and detect the City Parks tomorrow (Friday), and maybe try the public schools Saturday or Sunday. Anybody know if that is allowed. Thanks!

Go for it. I detect in City Park in New Orleans and it’s allowed.

I usually just run a quick search of the city ordinances looking for the key words like detect, dig, etc. before going out to city parks. If someone stops you (city worker) you can always ask for an ordinance reference if they say that detecting is not allowed.
