I am thinking of getting a Sunray S-1 probe for my Sov GT. Does anyone use one on their GT that can share their thoughts? Also, where would be a good place to buy one? Thanks for any advice you can provide. It is alot of money to spend, but I think I am leaning toward getting one. I received a handheld probe when I ordered my GT from Kellyco and have enjoyed using it, but the idea of the S-1 being attached to the detector sounds good. Bryan

The S-! Sunray probe is great on the GT. It goes deeper than the other pinpoint probes and attaches directly to your machine. It will even have discrimination on it the same as your coil. This is a time saver when your digging a hole with alot of nails or other junk near your target. I will warn you the GT gets a bit heavy when you add the probe and the meter.

You will love the S-1 Sun Ray probe on your GT. If you order one, make sure you order the 12 inch extension cable if mounting the box on the shaft. The 50 inch extension cable is needed if you plan to hip mount the controls. They don't tell you this when ordering nor is it covered in the S-1 description. You learn about needing any extra cables when you read the install paper or try to hook up the control box to the probe box. Get them both so you can use any configuration.

Call Tony of TC Metal Detectors, he sells Sun Ray.

Good Luck,
Sandman

Actually, she took it pretty good.....and took my credit card from me!!!! :'(

I feel for you guys that have your wife take your credit card or just give you a hard time when you want another beer. It's time to toss her out when there are more shoes in her closet than detectors in yours.
