Cool button found at work

Hey guys I was taking down barbed wire fence yesterday and found a little button. It's a Wanamaker and Brown. Was curious about dates and use maybe?

I would say 1861-1869, in 1869 his brother in law "Brown" died . Then became John Wanamaker & Co. in 1869--Quite a business man he was, picture is his store in 1876 in philadelphia------

Very cool thank you. finding a button on the surface on the west coast from 1860s seems amazing to me best day at work so far this year!! Haha
