Went out yesterday afternoon and hit two newer spots and dug only junk. On the way out, stopped by our original good spot to give it one more try before we gave up empty handed. This area has been hit hard over the last couple months but it didn't let me down! Only found one button but it's really cool! Different from any of the other buttons we've found. Don't know anything about this style but it really made my day to find at least one and for it to be so unique to my finds made it even better!

Neat button! I agree, it's always nice to find at least 1 unique object when you have dug nothing but junk!
 

These buttons date too 1820-1840. They were mainly used during John Quincy Adams and Andrew Jackson time period!
