Cool buttons!

I found another button today. I think it's a cuff link. I included in the pic a button, cuff link, and half an iron ball. Could it have been in the same time period as the buttons? Anyone know the time period.

Totaly nice buttons.

I found a metal one recently. Dont find thoes often anymore.

Those buttons are US military general service buttons, called Great Seal buttons. The design of this button was prescribed for the Army in 1902. So, they are 20th century military buttons.

Yep. I am hunting a man made lake that was built in the 1950's. Thanks so much for the information. I find lots of wheats; however, I think my hunting buddies have taken a bunch of the silver. Every once in a while I find a silver coin.
 
I found a couple of those a few weeks back. I believe that type of shank (on the large button) dates the button between 1902 - 1918.
