It's an interesting looking banded type of rock is what I'm thinking.

Thanks a lot I'm looking up serpentine specimens right now. I love this piece and I know it sounds crazy but the color seems to have faded a small bit. Maybe not. Could be just old eyes. THANKS AGAIN!
