Cool old find for today!!

Got out for 2 hours today. After finding a modern quarter, a memorial, a trashed wheatie, a what I think is a lock plate, I found something really cool.

I was on my way back to the car when I got a little squeak. About 8 inches down I found this 1860's civil war union token.
